This episode is all about detox and the changing of the seasons. Sharon who has never undergone a long detox begins by asking her guest, Dr. Elson Haas, to describe what a detox is to which he simply said that it’s basically cleaning up our habits and that his motto in his practice is “Lifestyle first, natural therapies next, drugs last.” They continue to delve deeper into it with the basic idea of “nutrition, exercise, sleep, managing stress, and a healthy attitude plus an attitude of gratitude.
0:05:20.1 At this point, Dr. Elson goes back to his first spring cleanse back in 1975 to how he does it now: how he came to know about, who it is for and who it’s not for; how it works; and how to start.

He talks about the benefits physically and emotionally ─ and the importance of mindset. He talks about staying on track by keeping ourselves healthy and convincing family members to join us.
