When Little Things Make Big Changes

Listen to “When Little Things Make Big Changes” on Spreaker.

In this episode of The Autoimmune Hour, we welcome Alissa Frazier, Health Coach, Therapist, Exercise Consultant, and a Thriver with Multiple Sclerosis. Alissa believes MS doesn’t have to stop you from having an extraordinary life.

Now, she’s on a mission to show people with MS that life is not over after diagnosis. After chatting with Alissa, I realized that Alissa’s experience and tips for thriving with MS can help us regardless of our diagnosis. Just some of what she shares with us is
• Her personal MS transformation that went against all odds

• Why working with your Emotional Nervous System is a missing link in a recovery

• How to improve body function and symptom management through a brain-body connection

• Why hope is an essential ingredient to heal and how to change the way of looking at your diagnosis, and so much more…

More About Our Guest: Alissa Frazier is the founder of LissMS, which offers a unique three-pronged approach to healing Multiple Sclerosis, which includes a nutrient-dense whole foods diet, stress reduction, and neuro-centered movement. She went from being labeled as having aggressive MS and “giant” lesions on her brain to having very few symptoms today. Alissa used her diagnosis as a wake-up call and knew there had to be a better way to recover. Now she combines her experience as a patient and a practitioner to create individual holistic protocols that help her clients improve their symptoms, feel better, and create a healthy lifestyle they love. About Your Host, Sharon Sayler

Your host, Sharon Sayler is a certified executive and wellness coach, communications trainer, public speaker, best selling author, and the founder of Competitive Edge Communications who specializes in teaching professionals critical nonverbal and body language skills including how to have those critical “tough” conversations. She teaches how to up-your-impact on the stage, in the boardroom, with clients, customers, team members and even how to deal with difficult people.

Now, she's taken those skills, her passion for clear and competent communication, her own experience dealing with a rare medical condition and her frustration with the medical community in understanding what it is like to have a chronic and complicated medical condition to teach others to become courageous self-advocates so they too can turn life transitions into triumphs. One way she spreads the word is through the podcast and videocast called The Autoimmune Show: Inspiring hope and help for those with autoimmune.
